Home Learning Reflection

Please complete the home learning reflection task on your computer and email it as a word document to your teacher by the end of the day on Friday.

Please note, you do not need to send any images of work you have completed during the week.

Your teacher will respond to your reflections in an email.

Tips for effective home learning

1) Wake up at an agreed time and get showered and dressed – it's hard to work in your pyjamas.

2) Follow, where possible, the structured timetable you class teacher has provided.

3) Tick off activities as you complete them to help you feel a sense of achievement.

4) Give yourself a mix of activities each day – an achievable mix of maths, English and other subjects is best.

5) Agree an area to work in so that it's not too tempting to mix play and home learning.

6) Build in regular breaks during your day.

7) Try to exercise in the garden or in a safe outdoor space if possible to get fresh air – otherwise exercise indoors.

8) Where possible, build in a social element to your learning by discussing what you have learnt with other family members or your peers.

9) Agree a regular appropriate bedtime.
