We have all enjoyed celebrating World Book Day today. Thank you for supporting your child to engage with this day of dressing up and celebrating the joy of reading books. The day started with an assembly on ‘The History of Books’ led by the Book Worms. Ask your children if they can remember any of the significant facts that they learnt about today. Throughout the day the children have had the opportunity to take part in a scavenger hunt in the library, a masked reader competition, poetry reading, paired reading and some fun creative activities during golden time.
