This half term in year 3, we have been studying William Morris and block printing. We explored printing on different surfaces and materials, using pens to carve our patterns and designs onto foam. 

The children learned about layering, texture and how to use a ruler and noticed that they didn't need to use much ink whilst printing and that it is important to apply an even layer of ink.
