Garden Suburb Junior School

Isle of Wight trip

On the 16th May, the year 6s embarked on their residential trip to the Isle of Wight.

The children took part in a huge range of activities including archery, bouldering, trampolining, orienteering and fencing. They showed bravery and resilience on challenging tasks such as the 'Leap of Faith' and ziplining and supported each other during team building games like the Mini Olympics.

Some highlights included our morning at the beach, where we spent the morning as a year group scouring the beach for crystals and fossils, building sandcastles and playing cricket aswell as the disco on the final night.

The children were an absolute credit to the school - organised, polite and encouraging at all times - and made the most of every minute.
