Garden Suburb Junior School

Science Week at GSJS

This week, Garden Suburb hosted their own Science week, packed to the brim with exciting experiments, a special STEM visitor assembly and a trip to the Vegetable Garden to plant their wildflower seeds from Children's Mental Health Week. Our Nature Garden club goers were also happy to report that our meadow has bloomed and there is frogspawn back in the pond!

We also launched our Wildlife Photography Competition, to encourage everyone to get out into nature. Your photograph could be anything to do with nature: flowers, landscapes, birds, mammals, insects, water, weather, your own pets, trees etc. You can take your photograph using an ipad, phone or camera as long as your image is clear. You can submit up to 3 entries. Winning entries will be displayed at school.

Entries must be emailed to 6J@gsjs.barnet.sch.uk by 25th March.

Include your name, class and the title of each image.

Well done to everyone for taking part and a special mention to our incredible House Captains who supported every class across the school.
