Girls' football match

The girls' football team have played a friendly match against Brookland Junior School.

On Thursday 17th June, the girls' football match played a friendly match against Brookland Junior School. It was a chance for the Year 6 girls to play one final match before leaving for their new schools as well as for the Year 5s to practise ready for next season.

The team hadn't had much chance to play or practise with each other prior to the match but were still able to showcase their excellent skills. Before the game, the team had talked about being positive with the ball and dribbling past opponents and they were able to show this throughout the match.

This photo was taken after the game and you can see everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Good luck to the year 6s in your future football careers and it will be exciting to see how the Year 5s get on next year.
