Garden Suburb Junior School

School Council

The school council is set up to involve pupils in the decisions made in school.  It acts as a model of a democratic process and helps the children to understand how they can make a positive contribution to their school community.

Our School Council is made up of two representatives from each class. These are voted for by the pupils themselves at the start of each school year.

The council meets with different curriculum co-ordinators to discuss a range of issues including the curriculum and environment.
