Garden Suburb Infant School

Year One Printing.

In Year One we have been exploring printing.

First, we used wax crayons to make rubbings of different textured surfaces.

Next, we explored printing with a variety of objects.

After that we explored rotational patterns through printing different shapes to look like petals of a flower.

We created beautiful, colourful flowers, inspired by our topic on plants and visit to Kew Gardens.

Which shapes can you see in the flowers?

Can you think of a name for your flower?
